Systems Analytics Launches BatchMatch V1.2
Waltham, MA, June 18, 2007, Systems Analytics Inc. (SAI) today announces the launch of a new bioinformatics software product BatchMatch V1.2. The software effectively corrects distortions due to batch effect commonly observed in microarray experimental data.
"Batch effect" is non-biological experimental noise commonly present across multiple batches of microarray experiments. The effect makes it difficult, if not impossible, to analyze similar datasets across different batches. The software application allows the user to combine and study multiple microarray data sets and enhances the statistical confidence in detecting valid biological signals from subsequent studies. This enables users 1) to infer more subtle biological variations, and 2) to produce more reliable biomarker selection.
The software package also features an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) that provides a user-friendly environment. Interested users should send request for demo software to info@SystemsAnalytics.com.
